Technical Guide: Crown Under Partial
Hassle Free and Patient Can Keep Partial!
Guide for Processing a crown without patient being without there partial. This guide can only be used with any of our Zirconia Milled Crowns.
STEP #1
Take a full arch impression of patients tooth before it is prepped without partial in place. When doing this use the same material you would use for final crown and bridge.
PLEASE TAKE A FULL ARCH IMPRESSION
STEP #2
Prep tooth and take your final impression with you choose of crown and bridge material.
PLEASE TAKE IMPRESSION WITHOUT PARTIAL IN PLACE.
STEP #3
Send your preop model without partial in, Final Master Impression, Opposing Model and Bite taken without partial in place. These Steps can be used when taking an intraoral scan.
FULL ARCH IMPRESSIONS ARE MOST ACCURATE WHEN USING THIS TECHNIQUE!
